Some shocking news that I wasn’t aware of and found out from Eivind Berge’s blog. It seems that Donald Trump is about to sign into law the “Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act” which will remove protections from Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act that meant that companies were not legally liable for user-generated content. According to CNN, as a result of the law, Craigslist are already shutting down their personal ads section.
If anyone thought the first amendment still existed, it seems this pretty much gets rid of it and without much fanfare either! It sounds like the law is far-reaching and companies will be expected to protect users from “obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable” content. In theory, of course, the first amendment still applies and a court could rule against feminist Trump, but America is so severely cucked by feminism, will they really?
Fuck you, hypocrite Donald Trump.
